I just got back from an out of town sales trip with my MM .
But something happened on the trip that absolutely amazed me .

I was in a town that I visit about half a dozen times a year and I am somewhat familiar with it and how to navigate it's road system .

Well... I was on my way back to my hotel on a rainy night when I pulled up to a stop light , waiting to turn left from a designated left turn lane . I'm waiting patiently , when I notice a marked PC pull right up behind me.

The light goes green in my lane to turn left and with all the rain I mistakenly turn into the left turn lane of the highway. I realize my error almost instantly , probably at the same time that I remembered that there's a PC behind me .Here I am in the wrong lane on a major highway going in the wrong direction with a PC behind me .

The PC puts on his red and blue eye catchers and follows me .

This is where it gets interesting .
So I navigate through the cars waiting for the light, pull around the corner, parallel to where I just was , waiting for the PC to come and give me a ticket, when to my surprise, he stays on the highway waiting for the light to change.
I keep waiting .
The lights change . I keep waiting
Then he's gone .
My lucky day or just another case of Marauder magic ?

Sounds like he was just helping you get safely out of the jamb you got yourself into. It's often how you handle your goof-ups rather than the error in judgement itself as to how you get treated. I've been there.

Driving a Marauder probably helped too. :D

Good point!! You did handle the situation well. Just an honest mistake and didnt try and get stupid. No harm no foul!!!!
