About Events in Marietta, Ga.

Just got back from the unveiling of Marty's car/Birthday party, plus some things that I got done on my car while there. I will post separately about my car and what happened while there.

This is more about the people there and what I saw at Team Ford. First a heartfelt thanks to Todd and Donny; you both went way out of your way to help me, while the Main Event was going on ( Legal Knevil Project ) I was having some work done on my car and was without it for parts of Thursday and Friday.

Todd and Donny drove my wife and I back and forth as events required or allowed my the use of their cars, when what seemed at the time a major problem that develop with my car, Todd took charged, drove it into Team Ford and had the problem resolved within minutes.

I had always thought that Todd when speaking about the people, service and attitude at Team Ford; was maybe stretching it a little, I can tell you from first hand experience: I was wrong, I walked in a stranger and left a friend. The attitude towards our cars and what we do was great.

I also had the opportunity to meet members for the first time and spend time with others that I had already met. I don't want to try to mention all by name for fear I will miss one and hurt feelings, but the barbecue, the breakfast, Marty's party and the dyno-tune all were spent with friends that I was very happy to spend time with.

This club without doubt has enriched and improved the quality of my life and I want to thank each and everyone of you for that,

I have been down to Atlanta a few times and the warm welcome from everyone is an understatemant!! And Team Ford is #1!!!

And to Finally got to meet Marty!!! Cool guy with a great Ride!!!!

Well, I too want to jump in on this thread since it is about the Alt. weekend--I too , was there to enjoy all the events and also add new faces to names I see on the .net -...and likewise, if you remember meeting marauderman, well , thanks from me ---it was truely a pleasure --

This is not my first time to Alt and the Southern Marauders meet--I thoroughly enjoy everyone and this weekend was just plain Great!!

Donny got to download my camera pics and woface's ( I brought his along)--The Marty Party was as great as his car..and it was a pleasure to finally meet Ms. TAF and his daughters -- and Marty's better half as well---Hope the BBQ lasted on your return trip for your enjoyment--and Todd--Thanks my friend---you know what I mean!!

Due to a little problem on my dyno --(most of you were gone by then)-- I will be back on Nov. 5th to correct the problem and get my re-tune--OH my--next day is the Shoot-out--Well--you guys can add another S/C'er on the list for OUR side---If that is ok---Meet ya there--YAHOO!!
Just a fun , fun, weekend--and the TEAM guys ?--well, they're the best!

Anytime I can spend some time with Mr. & Mrs. Smokie....is QUALITY time, if you ask me!

I bet some of you thought I was just blowing smoke, when I drove up there in August to get my breaks installed and a dyno tune from Aric. I knew I was instore for some good southern hospitality. I'm glad some more members were able to get to one of their meets, and what a meet you got to enjoy. The southern marauders are a great bunch of guys and gals. Oh yeah, you too Todd. :)
