Todd sold his Cobra shorty header based exhaust system to another member and installed a Kooks system on his car last week. Had the exhaust system ceramic metallic coated (all the way, like Legal Knevil), and here are some shots of this SWEET install. BTW, sounds awesome, too.

WOW that looks nice. Good choice Todd!!! I wish that I had chosen to ceramic coat the entire exhaust like that instead of just the headers. I've had that sytem for 11 months now, and the only thing that still looks decent are the headers, and the stainless stell magnaflow mufflers themselves. The pipes leading to the cats are completely covered w/surface rust although everything is still intact. :(
That must have costed a pretty penny to ceramic coat the entire exhaust Todd. Hey, does that place ceramic coat girlfriends and wives too?

Actually....ANYBODY wanting the BEST quality coating for exhaust (Ceramic Metallic Coating) needs to call Jerry Mobley at Performance Coating www.headercoatings.com (http://www.headercoatings.com/) (just ask Five-O...it's where he sent his). Or just let me know and I'll be glad to help in any way. Jerry is a GREAT guy and he has an unbelievable plant.
And....it cost less than you'd think to do the whole thing (headers, CATS, X-pipe) around $350 (that was "Cash-N-Carry" I personally delivered/picked them up).

Got any dyno numbers yet? Interesting to see a comparison of the shorties vs the Kooks. And since Mac is doing the same thing, changing from the Cobra manifolds to Kooks, we'll have some great exhaust comparison data.

Love the look.
Not a bad idea at all to have 'em coated from front to back!
www.headercoatings.com is one great company.

Maybe the leak is due to the same issue I had, a damaged ferrule (compression ring) were the tubing is joined.

As much as I love a product love fest, pls keep the headercoatings.com advertisements to a minimum pls.
Mentioning is one thing, quoting with pricelists is over my magical finger in the wind line.
Carry on... :) I'll be the first to admit the bling factor there is absolutely stellar!
