See what kind of mistake you can make if you make the wrong choice?! Now if they had done their homework, they would have made the right call and got themselves an Eaton!

That's obviously a hair dryer made to look like a Supercharger.

I can tell cause it's a girl holding it. Girls hold car parts like they were dead animals...eewwww. A cool hair dryer....yay!

Except Shirley Muldowney, which is, as everybody knows, a communist agent trained to undermine the foundations of true American values where a man's a man and women are either cheerleaders or barefoot and pregnant.

That's how you start some shyt!

I decided I will not get into a supercharger debate.

You say its all in fun but keep "pushing" the debate buttons on which supercharger is better.

Do what you want...its your choice.

Each s/c has its pros and cons....deal with it and move on.

Oh, it wasn't a supercharger debate...it was a debate of how this woman handles the raw power!

That was a prop used in the movie since an Eaton roots type S/Cer is bulkier and probably heavier too. So it would've been more difficult for a female actress to comfortably hold an Eaton S/cer in her hands long enough to do a movie scene shoot. Not to mention that the prop in that pic probably is a hair dryer anyway. Which BTW brings me to one of the three reasons why I don't particularly like centrifugal S/Cers.....they look like hair dryers sitting under your hood(not to mention all those weird vacume cleaner looking pipes that run underneath your hood w/the centrifugal design. You don't have that w/the Trilogy set-up. But ofcourse there are 53 other Trilogy equipped Marauder owners besides myself who already know that).

Yeah really Billy, learn how to keep up. :D

And I dunno...Queen Latifa is a pretty big woman!

Who cares about which damn supercharger they used...A VIC IS USED IN A MAJOR MOTION FILM...NOT SOME (In the good words of Dennis Reinhart) NAGISAKI NUT BUCKET!

This is no S/C debate. Just a little humor! Your probably right she could not holt up the Eaton, that's why they went with the polished hair dryer.

Speaking of movie props, anyone remember the Mad Max car? Remember the scenes where he'd be chasing some bad guy and "turn on" the blower? It was a real blower alright, but it had no internals and was driven by an electric motor just out of sight...

If anyone cares, the "last of the V8 Interceptors" is (because it still exists!) a 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe with an stock American-built 351 Cleveland.

I've seen her on a couple car shows, so I'm pretty sure she knows what that is. Judging from some of her comments on those shows, her preference is for big iron cars, so I'll bet if she had anything to do with car choice - she insisted on the CV.

See Billy The "Kid" get it! It's just a movie!!But what you didn't "get" is what was implied here by the first post. Just because something is said while being disguised in humor does NOT mean that the intended implication doesn't exist. And the next line of action that will typically follow someone's cover being blown like this is a denial of intentions, or implications. Do you "get" that? Yeah, I know...now you're going to try and say that I'm imagining things so you can save face, right? AAAAHHH, the games people play on this board.

BillyGman, It really was just a joke. Alot of people here are so serious about the S/C they have or like. There is no bad choice they all run good and I admit yours looks better. That was not even hard for me to say.Too me anybody that has a S/C MM can't be all that bad!

That's all fine w/me just as long as you can take it coming back at you. But some people on this board like to dish it out, but don't like to take it. When you give it back to them, they play the role of the martyr.

BAD A__ CAR!! I loved the 'clutch engage blower'. There were several of those right hand drive XB GT Falcons at Carlisle two years ago. I think that Mercedes actually had this feature on their low boost S/Cs.
It's a neat idea for a Roots type blower to reduce parasitic losses....Uh Oh...did I just step into the S/C wars going on at the website????

Actually, that's old school stuff, because Eaton has employed the use of a bypass valve on their S/Cers for years now which includes the Eaton S/Cer that's included in the Trilogy Kit. So at less than one third throttle there aren't any "parasitic Losses" w/the Trilogy S/Cer, because the internal rotors are simply free-wheeling. ;)
