I finally got my 03 into the dealer to get the 4.10's installed, and all I can say is WOW!

pulling out of the service dept, I punched it from a rolling start, and it roasted the hides!

Next I pulled into the car wash and hooked up the sct and loaded the tune. I can't wait to run Mrs TR now...BWAAHAHAHA! (She's going in for surgury in Dec, and won't get her 4.10's installed till April.) :D

Thank you Dr Reinhart.

Hope the surgery's not too serious...!

Teamrope,

Did they mention anything about break-in?

They sure stressed it with me.

This is what Randy's Ring and Pinion says.

I was told to take it easy for the first 30 miles or so.

Let her break in then drive her like you stole her.

Calm the **** down.... do NOT punch her from a dead or running start, if u do..... well the gears arent used to the lube/stress put on them from our 300+ crank and your gears will chip and thus cause a high pitched winning sounds which no one wants. If u went to a good gear shop they would have told u to take it easy for the first 300-400 miles, before u took it to the drags, thats all.
