Closer inspection of the issue reveals 3 vertical 'straps' but only the 2 outboard 'straps' have attachment clips in the fascia providing support at the bottom.
Anyone know of a good method of providing and attaching a center support clip?
The additional (center) clip would remedy the problem.

A lot of us have the saggy bumper problem. I remember someone showing me how they fixxed theirs at Indy. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was Fourth Horseman.
Here's the thread where FordNut describes how he fixed the problem....

Hi,
Just to give credit where due, Smokey showed us his fix at Indy for rear end sag. However, it only works for our MMs!!!! lets you misinterpret my remarks!!!

Yeah, I followed other peoples' leads here and fabricated a short aluminum strap that acts as a central support. I opted to not drill through the bottom of the bumper cover, though. I'll post a pic if anybody's interested.

I prefer not to use a through fastener.
Perhaps a similar type clip embedded in adhesive??
I would like to see the photo as well.

I use the edge instead of going thru the bottom, is pretty invisible...it works. CLICK (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9477&page=3&pp=15)
