The more that I hear about California, the more it looks to me like that state is leading the way in finding reasons to get old & hi-perf cars off the road period.

Yup, Cali trying to get rid of all the old hot rods is what i remember when i lived there for 6 1/2 years. the only reason why i didnt have to get the torino registered in that state cause i am in the Marines. good to be a non-resident. the only thing i had to do was pass smog (failed the test 6 times!) just to get a base decal. yeah, it's sad, but there's not much that can be done unless you go to another state.
