I know it may be too late for some of you but, for those it isn't....

My wife worked for Rockford Fosgate for some time and offered a bit of advice. Always go for the cheaper RF amps. They ALL come from the same line with the same parts and test the same. The only difference is the packaging.

Another tip, is to go to Google.com. When you are there, put in speakers I think it was then click "I feel Lucky". It will bring you to the RF clearance site. It is where they get rid of last year's left-overs.

Granted, after all I have seen and heard on the RF amps and the failures they have had, I would not get one. Many of the new amps, including those in the Nissan Titan are failing prematurely. (see November Popular Mechanics) Seems the power amps are desoldering themselves. I will stick with JBL or Kenwood or even, God forbid, Sony.

You're probably right. I just figured I would let others know so they can save a hundred or more.

Believe me I appreciate the info, I'd like to add XM and better speakers but that will come after the performance mods.

Do you have Dish TV? If so, check out the Sirius channels too before you decide on either. Both seem pretty good. I had the Sirius in the rental car and found I was thumbing through about 200 stations to see what was there. Took up my whole commute LOL
