:coolman: Not to knock Reinhart, I don't even know him but, also being the owner of a 99 Lightning, I have always had my tuning done by JDM Engineering with excellent results. My truck is used to trailer the race car and run the quarter. On street tires the L has run 12.80's @ 105, due to the tune-up. No offense to Reinhart but, I'm more than likely going to have JDM tune the MM

Hey, go with what you know...

I think most of us went with Dennis because of his reputation with Mustangs and Vics, and he was one of the first to do any serious modding of the Marauder, when even the DEALER can't figure out what they are...!

As a former Lightning owner, I'll say, If you don't mind paying JDM's inflated prices, then all the more power to ya. In my personal experience, JDM's customer service well, plain sucks. Waiting 3 weeks on a chip reburn is stupid.

Since you are in the Detroit area, you might want to try http://www.fordchip.com . These guys seem pretty good. I haven't had any experience with them myself. But, they are well recommended on www.corral.net. I don't work for them. They will travel to other cities for those of you who are not in Detroit.

You could also try Alternative Auto http://www.alternativeauto.com . They are well recommended also.

I don't know whether either of these two places have any experiences with MMs.

I believe the Ford Chip guys are the ones that provide Dennis' programming. What's neat about them is that they will tune your car HANDS ON, meaning they will run it through the dyno and make adjustments while you are there watching. Very cool...

C'mon now there's no reason to bash anyone here now. I see enough of this stuff on the other sites. Lets keep this site civil, OK?

Tom,

There's nothing malicious in stating that JDM's customer service sucks. His customer service woes are common knowledge.

I can't personally recommend them to my fellow Marauder owners due to their continual customer service issues and inflated prices.

I guess everyone has an opinion, but, where do you come up with overinflated prices when everyone selling chips are in the same ballpark as far as prices go. like I said earlier, lets keep this site civil
