I was sitting at my local Starbucks today enjoying my overpriced caffeine fix, when low and behold a black Marauder drove through the intersection. I jumped into my MM and gave chase. It pulled into Wally World, by the time I found it,.. it was parked and the driver had gone inside.

I was killing time, waiting for the FedEx store to open. I drove by a local car dealership and they had an '03 Marauder on the lot. I stopped to check it out. 35,000 miles, good tread on dry rotted tires (with front inner tire wear) The paint looked like crap! A bunch of scratches and a few bubbles. Asking price: $22,995.00! :bs:

A salesman in his mid-twenties walked up to me asked if I wanted to buy another Marauder. I told him a might be interested, if the price was right. (like 16K, considering the condition) He then proceeded to blow smoke up my a$$. This guy actually told me this Marauder was supercharged! :bs: I told him he'd have to show me that! He popped the hood. No supercharger.

I asked: So, where's the supercharger?" He pointed at the intake! I told him he was wrong and I left.

I couldn't believe this guy was trying to BS me about a Marauder, when he saw me drive up in one! what a dumb ass!

Typical car salesperson, he knew nothing about the Marauder. IMO

You don't need to know what you are selling, just attempt to know how to sell.

I went to look at an 04' Vette a few weeks ago, and I pulled up in the Marauder....this hyped-out sales guy bounces out of the showroom.....I get out of my car to look at the Vette, and this knucklehead says to me..."WOW!!!! That's a really cool package you have on the Grand Marquis"...(idiot)...then, I proceeded to explain to him what my car was and how it came from the factory, then of course all the mods I've done to it!!! :P

He then asked me if I wanted a job!!! I said....uhhhhh.....NO!:D

I visited a Silver Marauder still new on the lot at a Merc dealer last weekend. The salesman didn't even know production was stopped on them. Salespeople need to realize customers know their stuff, and that they should also take the time to research and get their facts straight. This problem seems quite freaquent.
