I took a little out of state trip lastnight, and unlike most other times on the road, I actually took it easy w/the gas pedal (well, sort of ). I only hit WOT once (due to a tailgater!!), and got into the boost twice. And out of 17.48 gallons of Mobil 93 octane gasoline( atleast that's how many gallons it took when I filled it up again), my Marauder went 335 miles. That calculates to 19.16 MPG. Not bad for a Supercharged Marauder that also has 4.56 gears in the rear, uh? BTW, about 320 of those miles were highway.

Hey Billy,

That ain't Bad.The most I've been ever able to squeeze out a tank is 390's on my way home from the Dreamwood cruise in Michigan.

Nice Billy.....I'll be shooting for that many on the trip to Atlanta.

I average about 20mpg if I realllllly stay out of the throttle on long trips.

I get 15 if I don't... :)

around town during my usual style of driving I only get about 12.5 MPG, and on the highway I usually get about 16.5 MPG. But that's during my usual driving habits. :D With my car, the poorer gas milage is mostly due to the 4.56 gears. I know that because I installed them before I did the S/Cer, and I was only getting 13 MPG around town back then.

Damn ...

Billy got 19+ mpg ...

Hell has OFFICIALLY frozen over.

;)

I can usually & safely squeeze another .075 - $1.00 in mine after the pump clicks(super $2.25+ per gal most places here).

@ 1900 miles on the clock to date ... last fill up I ran to just a hair below an 1/8th of a tank. Took 16.38 gal to fill back up(topping off) & I had 295 clicks on the trip OD ... mostly around town.

Most I've squeezed out on the highway to date(before hitting 1K miles) ... was @ 325.

Yes, that's what I always do before and after so that my calculation results will be as accurate as possible.
