I recently saw on a TV show or in a car magazine (I can't remember) a way to paint stuff to look just like Carbon Fiber. Does any member know of a paint shop that can do this kind of paint job?? (Not for the entire car, just some parts)

I'm thinking that 'Carbon Fiber' (painted) valve covers would look awesome with the Metco C.F. intake tube and the upcoming? C.F. radiator cover. Also, isn't Metco working on a C.F. Air Filter/Cold Air assembly??

That would look cool!!! Maybe others can help out.

"Carbon fiber" paint can be gotten from your Acme Industies catalog. Amongst the "New Items" on the back of the 2004 cover, it costs more than the fake tunnel paint and almost as much as the anti-gravity paint because of it's high demand. Up to 6 weeks for delivery and no overnight because they do all their own shipping. :D
Actually it's just a masking technique. Call around the paint shops, I'm sure somebody in your area knows how to do it.
Actually it's just a masking technique. This ^^^ is correct. First time I'd seen it was on the RIDES episode with Christopher Titus' wifes SUV...it looked really cool on the hood scoop.

I saw an episode of "Rides" on TLC where they faked the carbon fiber look by using a piece of drywall tape as a mask (the blue perferated kind).
I think it was on Christopher Titus (wives) Ford SUV.
They "faked" carbon fibered a (mopar) shaker hood scoop and the stripes on the side of the SUV.
