Last weekend I was invited to a local SS meet by one our Army Reserve Warant officers I work with from time to time.
There were about 25 members of the local group present. Got to see some cool cars, and talk shop. One of the biggest things the SS guys envy is our ability to S/C without having to crack open the bottem end and lower the compression.
The meet was held at one of the members shop where he makes custom headers and exhaust systems. I told him that there was only one company that made a true header for the MM. When I poped the hood he said he can see why.
A couple of guys asked if Mecury hired the same engineers after looking at some of the tight clearances and placement of certain componants.
All in all, I had a good time, and am looking forward to getting something set up for a SS/MM meet.
