I thought I had run over a plastic bottle yesterday. Today I was washing the car. When rinsing the LF wheel well something didn't look right. On closer inspection the front part of the inner fender liner was missing. ???? Has this happened to anyone else? The dealer is going to replace it on Friday under warranty.

You probably ran over something. The driver's side front fender liner is open. Been discussed many times here.

Your dealer is going to replace a part that doesn't exist, under warranty...I like it... :shake:

Tell them your blower is missing, too...

You guys are kidding right? There is a cover on the passenger (right) side. If this is supposed to be open then all the crap the tire throws will end up on the under side of the bumper cover.

If the Company don't cough one up, you'll have to make one, have seen the problem and I can't believe it went out the door like that.

Well ya learn something new everyday. I guess normally with the stock wheel/tire, coupled with where I wash my car, I never noticed this before. The snow tire/wheel setup doesn't fill the wheel well up as much on the incline I wash the car on that I was able to see this. Still a piss poor setup....

ChrisH....have you ever heard of the explaination of the word ASSUME? Don't be so quick to disparage.

Don't feel bad RayJay, I posted the same concern two years back and the membership knew back then as well. You did the right thing asking.

A couple of us tried to create something, but it never panned out.

Chrish caught a typo thats been there since I joined up in early July. Smokie, I think you're right about the ram air, I can think of no good reason for the fender to be like that. Makes no sense, especially since they put plastic under the front end to close it up. :loco: I was too busy at work today to contact the dealership's body shop and tell them to cancel whatever part they ordered. If it wasn't 18 miles away I'd drive up when they call tomorrow and see what they came up with. :D
