Bone stock, under the right conditions, 14.56 @ 97.something. Under not so great conditions, low 15s or possibly high 14s if you're lucky.

Welcome, You will love your '03 MM. Most bone stock '03 MM are 15.2s - 15.5s in the 1/4 mile. A few members have turned low 15s and a few high 14s on stock '03 MMs. Those times are not quick enough to deal with many newer cars on the road...hence the large number of members who modify their MMs. The biggest problem is that with 281 cubic inches pushing 4300 Lbs through an automatic the MM is a dog 'out of the hole'. 4.10s and a tune/chip will wake 'er up nice! :D

Hey everyone I just bought an 03 Marauder today at noon !
So why are you fooling around on the net instead of enjoying your new ride?? Welcome to the MM.Net :welcome: ... and enjoy the experience. A bone stock '03 Marauder ran a 14.80 at Mason-Dixon recently. :D My times as a first timer were not as impressive.

Well just to answer the question my Marauder is Black with Black interior. I love this car!!!! I expected a lot from it but as soon as i got in it there was so much more! I just got back from Englishtown and my car ran a best of 14.85 and a worst of 15.19. Now i'm not entirely sure what is done, the previous owner put manufacturer decals under the hood that say it has a Superchip, K&N, Flowmasters, and Eibachs but the K&N was removed and is no longer in there, i def has an aftermarket exhaust, it looks lowered and rides a little rough, and i'm not sure if it still has a chip in there does anyone know if there's any way i can check to see if it has one installed without rippin the computer out? That being said, i have a lot of money comin up for me this christmas and i wanna balls this car out like mad so if anyone has any ideas of what i could do with 6 or 700 dollars i would appreciate any suggestions thanks a lot everyone!!!
I LOVE ME THE MARAUDERS YEA:banana:

not sure if it still has a chip in there does anyone know if there's any way i can check to see if it has one installed without rippin the computer out? Just put the driver's set all the way back, and crawl underneath the dash, and look if there's a chip plugged into the computer. It doesn't have to be removed to see the chip, nor to remove the chip if there's one in there. The computer box is silver, and is located on the lefthand side of the steering column underneath the dashboard. It's not too far from the emergency brake pedal. It's just slightly above it. i have a lot of money comin up for me this christmas and i wanna balls this car out like mad so if anyone has any ideas of what i could do with 6 or 700 dollars i would appreciate any suggestions thanks a lot everyone!!!
I can appreciate your enthusiasm for your Marauder since I Luv my Marauder too, and I'm not trying to burst your bubble either, but 6 or 700 dollars isn't gonna be enough to "Balls this car out like mad". :D By your comment I assume that you want to make the car faster. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that. But w/that amount of $$ you can obtain somewhat of a modest difference in acceleration from a 4.10 ratio ring & pinion gear set, and a re-burn of the chip. You'll need a re-burn of the chip anyway for the new gear ratio. I'd call Lidio of "Alternative Automotive" for that chip if I were you. He has a forum on this board. The 4.10 gear set can be purchased from a number of places including www.summitracing.com (http://www.summitracing.com/) for about $180. You simply need to order the gear set for a Ford 8.8 rear end since the Marauder shares that rear w/the Mustangs. I hope this helps you out.

yea, sorry that was a really stupid way of phrasing my statement, I was thinking about getting some U/D pulleys and replacing the mid-pipe and maybe a CAI i don't know if any of these would make a difference but i know they aren't that expensive and i don't really need some insane track car i would just like to shave a little off my ET, plus i'm hopin to save up in the future and get an S/C or perhaps some direct port N2O injection or something.

Martin, I've performed many modifications to my Marauder, just as some other members of this board have. So I can tell you something about just how much time will be shaved off your quartermile ET's w/many of the modifications available for our cars since the S/Cer was the last mod that I performed (although it should've been the first, since I wouldn't have needed the others if it was). The gear change and the chip would be the best bang for your buck since you're merely talking about several hundred dollars right now.
U/D pullies will only net a miniscule 12 HP. You're not going to feel an extra 12 HP on the street. I'm not saying that an U/D pulley set isn't worth the $$ since it's one of the cheapest mods that you can do. But since it's one of the least inexpensive performance mods available, it's also going to yield one of the least bit of power and acceleration gains too. You only get what you pay for in the performance game. The chip and gears will shave .50 seconds off your ET. Or you can get a Precision Industies brand "Stallion" torque converter w/the stall speed set at 3,000 RPM's and that will run you about $800 for the part, but will yield a .50--.70 second reduction in your ET's.
