Went to No Problem for bracket Racing Last Nite. They had 200 cars due to the F Body Shoot Out this weekend.
Track was closed 2 X, once a guy in a Camaro ProStock lifted the front wheels way up, panicked and left off the throttle only to smash all manner of guts all over the track, to maek matters worse the buffune floored it all the way down the track and kept going all the way back the return lane and into the pits spuing all matter of guts. Took 2.5 hours to clean up this buffune's mess. Another fool blew up but had enough sense to stop and that only took an hour.
I only got 1 time trial in. I made it to the second round and redlited by -.049. Ran a 13.979. On each run the 1-2 shift she went 20* side ways and I had to do a real steering correction, definitely need more rubber on the rear. :burnout:
The Marauder got lots of attention by a dozen or so, several said they were rooting for me.
Boy this car is fun! :D

Congratulations on maintaining those 13.xx runs !!! I have a question about your lost of traction on the 1-2 shift: Are you shifting manually ??? either way, at what rpm's is the shifting taking place ???

The trans is shifting it'self, it is a Reinhart Trans w/ a Stallion. :D
The RPM's are right on the redline at shift.

Can't see your garage for mods. Say's I'm not authorized to enter. Running a chip mod, I assume, but gears?
How many miles? Is your limited slip worn out? Going side ways would indicate one tire slipping at the 1-2 shift, that's why I ask about the miles.

Red line I believe is about 6150, my 1-2 shift is at about 5900 and my 2-3 is at redline about 95 Mph. I don't loose traction on the 1-2 auto shift, just a small chirp.

273.4/294. The car is a little rich, but I like the safety factor vs sqeezing another 7-9 hp.
PM your email and I will send you my track data in xcel. Keep in mind temp/hum affect by as much as .75.

I have a theory about burnouts and sliding sideways....and I've learned it in the last couple months after my Trilogy was installed.
If you feather the gas and ease it up to speed....the rear will slide sideways.
The rear differential is spinning both of the tires...but the drivers side one isn't spinning at quite the same speed...usually less....as the driveshaft is spinning towards the passenger side...thats the tire that gets more power initially.
Fix?......get on it right away. I know its easy with a Trilogy....but my burnouts have my car rock solid....because I hit the gas and immediately get the car up to 40-50mph minimum.
Just a theory.... :) Definitely works for me.

Forgot to add:
Congrats on the runs sailsmen!
Glenn is knocking on the NA 13 second club also. He came to the Shootout wanting to hit 14.20 he told me....and by the end of the day his best run was 14.008 I believe!
The N/A bolt on Marauders are getting some attention. No doubt.

Any sugestion on limiting the 1-2 shift sideways, my data reflects it cost me 2 tenths. Keep in mind it does not always do the 1-2 sideways shift only if cool air and track has a little dew.
