Lidio,Dave,Mike Z.John O.,John S.and myself went to Milan today for a little test and tune.Sunny and in the sixtys we were hoping for colder temps. There was a good turnout with a bunch of 8-9-10 second wheelstanding cars.Anyway I will let the other guys tell there own stories but I ran 14.63,14.64,14.64 all around 95MPH.It was fun.

Hack,
I had a blast but must remember to bring ear plugs next time. The people and cars were great with a large variety. Everything from your mothers grocery getter to professional race cars.
Fun was made for all.
I can say that this is very addicting as I'm looking forward to the next one. Hopefully we won't have so many rainouts next year.

I must give hats off to the mustang boys and some others there as with me being a newbie I had lots of questions, like which color light do you take off on.
This might explain my one reaction time of 4.32.

Ran a new personal best of 12.24 @ 113. The Big Bad Black Merc has really come together with the perfect blend of open highway running and qtr mile stormin!

It was a blast to see you guys there. 5 Marauders at Milan was indeed a strong showing and caught the attention of at least a few folks.

Hey, where's that video footage?

Anyway, time to make the BIG announcement! Okay here goes:

It's OFFICIAL! I am DONE! NO MORE MODS! I MEAN IT!!
(at least for the rest of the 2004 season)

Mike, does that mean no more mods for this year?
I know what you mean, I think I am pretty content with my MM the way it is now with the type of use I give it. Sorry I missed out on Milan, but darn if the honey do list didn't become preemptive. Great runs!!!

Wish I could have made it. I had to attend my apprentice's wedding and it would have backed me up to go. Glad you guys had fun.

Well I told you it would be addicting so I'm starting the planning to go to Milan this Saturday.
I'm planning on bringing my 2 sons with me.
Hope I don't burn up my new set of tires.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high in the low 40s. As of 11Nov 4pm.

All right people, I'm making a list and checking it twice, wait a minute, wrong holiday.

Weather looks good. Washed the car today, Armoralled the tires.
Ready to go. Getting ready to pack the picnic basket because the concession food did not look too appealing.

The wife already said if I fry these new tires she's gonna kill me, but really she's glad I'm enjoying myself.
And I sure am. Watching and doing burnouts is the best.

We'll see you early afternoon. Anyone else up for possibly the last run of the year. (At least up here in the North) Any good eateries nearby as I'm bringing my wife and daughters along for the ride.
