I am putting car in a friend of mines body shop Nationwide has been very good to deal with they are replacing bumber and rh lamps on my car even though they could clean up. I want to replace frt pads while the car is down. Any recomindations on pads I dont want brake dust problems oem ford pads list for 130.00 less 30% discount. Iam going to have old bumper reconditioned and hold on to it. the could get hard to come by in a few years. thanks again

Go to NAPA and get the ceramic pads. They make almost no brake dust and stop very well. They can also handle more heat without brake fade. They are the only pads I use. Don't get the ceramic pads from anyplace else. All the other brands are a ceramic mix. These ones NAPA sells are pure carbon ceramic pads. Well worth the money.

I just had a full set of Hawk HPS pads put on mine, along with the PowerSlot rotors. They're pricier than the NAPAs, but feel at least as good...although I am experiencing a little bit of squeal once in awhile. It's not consistent, or even constant...seems to happen when they're wet from driving in the rain. Otherwise they're really good. :twocents:
