Hello all and thanks to all,

I'm about 3 months into ownership of a black 2004 MM and new to the site.

Thanks for all the great information which has already lead to tracking down my jacket with Alan Pinter, an upcoming weekend project for my rattling subwoofer, an upcoming order for snow tires (Chicago), and at least one other user on the site (did a search) that can commiserate with my wiring harness fouling problem. At 780 miles, the harness that exits the firewall just behind the driver-side valve cover wore through from rubbing on a stamped steel bracket. Car quit in a safe spot, towed in, fixed and running again the next day, with a safely re-routed, re-taped, foam insulated harness.

Other than that, I love the Marauder and can't seem to get enough time in the seat (a little competition from my wife for the keys).

Thanks all - hope I'll be able to contribute to the knowledge base as time goes on.

Right on, right on.....it's official, your'e part of the family now!:D

How about updating your profile to show your location? It's kinda like moving in. Once we know where you're at, you may become a part of the lighter side of the site, the personal get togethers and the making of new long lasting friendships.

Oh...Wise guy eh? Did a search, did ya? Well, newbies don't do searches, we know that, so, don't go brown nosing us with this BS, eh? Who are you, really?

Okay, just kidding...Welcome for real now, glad to have you on board.

E-mail me a howdy at SergntMac@aol.com, I'll FWD my contact numbers. You're not alone in Chicago, nice to have another victim on board.

Thanks for all the welcomes. My profile has been updated.

Bradley G: I picked up the Marauder through M&M Lincoln Mercury on North Ave. in Melrose Park. A nice, short drive from home, very friendly folks to deal with, and endless popcorn to keep my kids distracted while I shopped.

SergntMac: Thanks for the door prize, but what fun's a burger without FAT?

As for learning to use the search engine first... didn't want to burn up all my "newbie question" mulligans :bows: to early on!! May need them when I drop the car off the jack putting the snow tires on.

Welcome!

Sad that Ford never addressed the wiring problem, but I'm glad that we had answers for you. A newbie tip I haven't seen in a while...check underneath your doors, some cars have tape over the drain holes. Probably a really bad thing in Chicago.
