hey everyone,
i almost hate to even ask this question because i know how harsly some newbies are treated when they don't have knowledge for even the most elementary things they should know about their cars but i bought mine like a week ago, and before that i knew nothing about marauders except they were made in 03 and 04 and i liked them a lot so anyway here's my question: I see a lot of people making alphanumerical designations such as 300A etc., what exactly is this? Is this a body designation as how the mustang went from Fox to SN-95? And if it is a body style designation what do they all mean and how can i find out what my car is? Thanks a lot everyone and sorry if my question seems stupid i bow down to the more knowledgeable :bows:

welcome!!:welcome: your question is not stupid. 300a refers to the first batch of marauders built. do a forum search and you'll find a ton of info. send a pm with your vin# to a member named roylpita and he'll tell you all need to know. if your car has a stand-alone clock [not in the radio] it's a 300a. again, welcome home!!:)

Well you could do a search and look it up:up:
The short version is June of 02 to mid Nov. '02 were all 300A's and all black
Big differance was no traction control on 300A's. Lot of other small items were taken off the 300B's to pay for it. Short version:)
Welcome and post a location please.

:welcome: Martin!
We are actually a fairly friendly group here. We all started at some point in our life with little car or Marauder knowledge. Now be prepared to learn an awful lot about our cars......and no questions are stupid questions. I see others have already jumped in with info about As and Bs. :D

Ok well my car has a TCS and no stand alone clock so i don't think it's a 300A, I'll have to send my VIN to that person cause i'd love to know more about my car and to answer the location question I live in NJ in the Hamilton/Trenton area. Thanks so much everyone, i used to have 2 mustangs and i'll tell you there are plenty of A-holes on those boards, i'm so happy to find out how nice you guys are over here!

You will find your profile edit option under 'preferences' in the tool bar above.
From the sounds of it, you ave a 300B. It would have been on your window sticker if you still have.

Ask about what oil to use...I dare you...I mean double dare you! ;) :D
:flamer: :D
Just an old joke...way too many people come in and ask what oil to use. Just search for "oil" and you'll see.
