I was at the SEMA show in vegas and was talking to Paul From Pauls High Performace and he was telling me that a big problem on the fords is that when pushing the boost the Ford coil packs don't put out enoughf volts. Only about 25k. He was saying if you could take a new Vette coil near plug system that is 80k to 100k volts and convert it to a Ford and make that fit a Ford you would have something. I talked to one of the Manfacturers I represent Micro-Tech and they already have a protoype done that will plug into the Ford Factory harness. Cost is $500.00 and will retail for about $750.00 it will have the GM coils but will plug into the factory Ford Harness. I am having a set sent to Dennis and Paul for some Dyno testing.

Any thoughts?

Sounds good... another option to add into the s/c kits!?

I'd like to see the dyno results... $750 better show some real improvement.

Not to put a damper on development, but it seems to me that we should see some proof of this deficiency before we leap at this. Logic tells me that with the volume of COP enabled engines on the street, and the major players (Mallory, Accel, ect.) NOT looking at this as an opportunity to develop new product and market, that we need to hear more on the problem first.
