Very interesting video. YEAH...I'll have to watch it tomorrow again when the demerol wears off...but,

It appeared to have the street tires on, and it sounded like it woundup first gear litterally immediately. After that, it was gone. Gone like a bat out of hell!!!

Are there any shots from the side? And what was the 60 ft. time on that run?

The street tires for this machine are widened rims and Nitto's!

To answer some of the questions....

Those were "street" tires: I was running the Nitto's on the widened rims.

It was an 1/8 mile track. The time was 8.08. The trap speed was 91mph. This time would translate to low 12's, which is obviously not as fast as I would like to see. But, we are at the beginning of the curve with respect to tuning the motor and the tranny. Plus, I believe that once we put the slicks on him, he will hook much better.

I booked my flights for a 24 hour trip down to ATL again next weekend. We will do more sorting out and tuning and I will of course report back then.

Gosh, getting the car set up is the hardest part!

I definitely heard 8.08 @ 91 MPH .... not sure of the speed; but the time was pretty clear. Surely, there's a timeslip on this one. :2thumbs:
