System or Spray?

With the money i get for Christmas, i could do one of two things: get a custom X-pipe made up and then buy a 125 shot of N2O, or save for another few months and buy a new stereo for my car that will be approx 1500 to 2K, it will consist of a new head-unit with a 2.5" LCD screen that accepts broadcast television signals with inputs and i would plan on hooking up an X-Box and PS2 to these inputs (not one of those douchebag teenagers that try to impress everyone, i just think that would be impressive at shows and i'm bigt into the custom car-show scene). I love speed and would love to be able to go faster than my sister in her new 05 mustang GT and be able to keep up wit a C5 but i'm a hardcore audiophile and i love hearing everything a song has to offer me, but i'm afraid if i install a system like this, everyone will think i'm like those dork kids that roll the hondas and acuras around here and i really don't want myself associated with them.

I understand and agree with you totally.
But you CAN install a really well thought out audio system
that would put most of those Hondas and Acuras to shame.
I'm not talking about volume either.
It is exceptional to have a clean and audiophile quality sound system in any vehicle today.

Save your pennies if you drive your Marauder on lots of trips
and invest it into the audio system.
It will make your ride more enjoyable for you,
and will take your mind off of keeping up with the C5, C6, and 2K5 Stangs...

My wife's 2K3 Focus ZTW has an audio system that puts
the Marauder's audio system to shame,
and she doesn't have the SONY EXPLODE system in it either.
It is the stock 6 disk, slot loading radio, with the 4 speaker setup.

I am planing on changing my audio system also.
I would like to keep the stock head unit for simplicity, and the integrated controls,
and just add a good 4.1 amplifier, better drivers, and a better subwoofer system.
I would swap out the head unit if I could find a DVD Audio system,
with a compatible DVD Audio Changer, and upgrade to a complete 5.1 Audio system instead.

Well the only reason i even considered swapping out my head unit for a new one is because i have talked to several people including stereo installers and they make a bypass to make all the integrated steeringwheel controls still work. It only works if the stereo installed is available to be used with a wireless remote. it's an extra couple of bucks tho and i don't know, i mainly wanna keep up with the 2k5 stangs cause my sister is gettin one and is talkin massive poo, and if i can beat it i can shut her down for a while. Sibling rivalry at it's finest.:duel: :bop:
