Yea, you read it...
I was out working Saturday 11/6 and paid a visit to the Best Buy store in Norwalk, CT.
I hate traveling through the parking lot because its like driving through
a really crooked labyrinth.
It must have been designed on a Friday night, after the architect had one to many beers... :beer:
I decided to take a different route and I drove behind the stores,
so I'd come out on the far end behind Best Buy,
to park in my usual double wide spot.
Now Best Buy has their Mobile Installations Garage located
in the rear of the building right in the corner.
As it came into sight I saw a really good looking BLACK Impala SS parked outside the garage.
As I rolled up to the garage, I dropped the Marauder into N and revved the engine a few times.
Three guys from inside the garage came running out to see what the noise was about.
All three spotted me rolling by.
I took my usual double wide spot, and walked back to say hi,
and all three guys were complementing me on the sound of the exhaust.
They said it sounded really deep, and had a good volume to it.
When I told them it was the STOCK exhaust, they couldn't believe it.
I dropped my card to the owner of the Impala SS and told him to
drop by the MM.net site and say hello.
He has been down to Raceway Park in New Jersey and met quite a few of us already.
His car is excellent condition, except for his hood.
It is suffering from the GM Paint cancer that most dark colored GMs suffer from.
I'll be heading back up to Norwalk, CT on Dec 4th or 5th,
so if anyone wants to meet there, let me know !!!
The lot is usually empty in the corner of Best Buy
but with the holiday shopping coming round,
I'm not so sure there will be any space...
