OK, I leaned on the Blackbird a little harder than usual...wasn't looking at the tach, was looking at the road...but RPM was a fair amount higher than usual...right at the 1-2 shift, I heard a little "chiff" kind of sound...didn't sound like any tire bark I've ever heard, and seemed like it was more from the front. Nothing else was/is out of the ordinary.

Over on CVN, I've read a number of posts about a serpentine belt chirp on the 1-2 upshift that they seem to usually remedy by installing a Goodyear GatorBack belt...has anyone else had this sound/issue with a Marauder? I don't remember it ever making this sound before under the same conditions, but the belt has 31,xxx on it now...

I'm not worried about it, just looking for comments...

Check your belt tensioner, Bob, some of us have had problems with them. Look to see if there's a slice of white plastic slipping out of it, that looks like an accordian? If so, it may need replacing.
