In response to folks digging in the archives for threads to re kindle.I would like to offer an rear deck badge (used but looks new)to the first one to guess what fun thing I got to do today. I will pay shipping to the first person to post thier correct guess .This contest is posted on Maraudermans (on Painting Badges) origional post. But there is only one contest and I only have one badge.

Hey MM'ersI was the luckey devil who was able to Check out first hand; look, touchie feelie, sit in and drool all over a 2005 Ford GT40 in arrest me Red.I did'nt get the Impact till you get up close and personal. This Super car is worth a close up look see.Thank you all who partisipated in my contest. A few comments, about the Supercar!It was not the easyiest car to get in especially at 6'6+, But once your in there all I can say is,Have you ever tried on a pair of gloves and they just felt "perfect" My head lightly brushes the roof.It is padded so it felt snug but still comfy.another wild thing is even at my height ,I can straighten my legs if I go around the pedals..If you do an over the shoulder glance You are stareing no more than inches from that awsome Twin Screw S/C.
We fired that Bad boy up and it has a sound second to nothing I have ever heard.Not very loud, but a deep lucious rumble that is singing " I live for the Redline!!"A few uncommon things I noticed,No exterior door handle There is a selenoid that opens the doors. And as most of you folks know there is no Ignition key .Just a big red button where the key would be on the dash.A few things that were not that great is the HVAC is located in front of armrest . and the radio is hidden under the centre stack looks hard to get to.The accesory switches are a little over the top.I know the retro look is what thier shooting for.The steering wheel is not much bigger than my Hand a couple inches at best.Seat had good support both ways and probably the most amazing thing about this car is the fit and finish WOW-E- WOW -WoW:bows:
No car is worth the money they are getting for these but only cause I can't have one:o .......................YET!

I just realized my thread was the forum in which :bunny2: Mary (thanks Mary)thought of doing the S/c raffel:banana: I had so much fun with my little contest,I'm thinking of doing another one.I have 2 OEM door edge guards (rear)in black for the first person to guess how many times my car has been in for service.It has only been to the dealer that it was "born" at.It has 15000 miles and will be in service on the 31st for one year. Good luck
