Hey!
Well, I finally got around to dumping my dynotune file (re-tweaked by Jerry/Chris many times) out of my EEC and loading in SCT's "stock" 91-octane "performance" file. And finally . . . no more pinging! This file also has the "TC lock-up" parameter modified (don't ask me how to do this--SCT did it for me) to hold the RPMs higher to also help reduce low-RPM strain. Before, pinging still persisted even after I installed the two-step colder Densos plus the 180-degree stat. Now, I think, I'm good.
