Checked the add. Where Dennis sells the completed kit, with bearings, the one advertised is the ring and pinion only. It's an additional $75 plus change for the bearings. I guess one could swap out the ring and pinion without the other bearings, why woul dyou want to?

I bought a 3.73 ring & pinion and aluminum driveshaft from GEF. Service was quick, easy & friendly. They're big in the Mustang community, someone's always doing a GP with them, usually for gears or brake kits.

Mmm I wonder what price they could get us on a group purchase? Afterall Ford Parts are Ford Parts, no? Also, I don't think Dennis kit for 185 comes with any bearings, or at least mine didn't

Mine came with everything needed for a swap except shims & a gasket, but I can't say whether every package would be the same. I don't see why they wouldn't, though.

Interesting, I just called Dennis and he said that only the ring and pinion are included... I wonder if rancor ordered something else?

Mensrea, I tried looking up the info on the group purchase I got my gears in, but couldn't find the exact price. Anyway, about 20 of us at BullittClub (IMBOC) bought gears from GEF last spring. There was no price difference between 3.55, 3.73 and 4.10 and the kit included a complete bearing set with the ring & pinion, but no fluids, shims or gasket. Price was alittle under $200 - by far the best deal anywhere. It looks like a bearing kit can be ordered with the gears on the link you provided, for an extra fee.
