i bought my 04 marauder in august of 04. i never received the card for the jacket. anyone know who to contact? the mercury website is a dud! thanks.

I bought my 2004 Marauder on June 5th of this year. I got my mail-in card after several phone calls and finally reaching a very helpful person at my L-M zone office. The dealer was absolutely no help here. I mailed the card in on August 17th. I made several more calls to the L-M zone office and to Alan Pinter. Bottom line is that I received my Marauder leather jacket today!!! Alan also was able to get me a XXX jacket, because I'm 6'2" and weigh 288 pounds. Alan was very helpful to me. I can't wait to get home from work tonight and try it on. It comes in a special Marauder shipping box with Marauder logos, and a coat bag with a hanger (all future collectibles?).

The moral is, if you hang in there long enough, you'll eventually get your leather jacket. After my personal experience, I no longer believe that I would have ever gotten the leather jacket without a lot of personal involvement and constant follow-up. Even though many Marauder owners will tell you about how simple the process was for them. I think in the early days of the 2003 model, that was probably true. But since the car was canceled, it seems harder to get satisfaction. The key here is was!
