It's coffee light. But after some recent events I was looking thru the members list and thier is quite of few inactive people. Are we that boring or disfunctinal that people dont stick around????

My homepage is only showing 2,271 members. I think MM.Net has only added about 500 members in the last year or so. So, 3,000 may still be a ways off unless we step up our recruiting efforts to catch the folks who have somehow missed finding this great site. :D

The 3,000 count is based on registrations from Day One. Inactive Members have been deleted over time by Logan. The Member number on the Home Page is the number of active accounts. There are many more registering and lurking than there are posting. Everyone has SOMETHING to say. Chime in and say HI!!!!

I know we have not met face to face yet, but from pictures & what's been said here - you can count for as many as you want to (I wouldn't want to be the one to say no)!

IMO Some people just join because it's free and easy. :D

There are currently 2,181, which means that many people have either posted once, or visited the site in the past 6 months.

There are 1055 members who've visited the site since October 1st.

The above doesn't account for "lurkers" which comprise about 50% of the sites traffic. Folks who just don't post and don't ever establish an account.

... just soaking in the knowledge and ideas, couple of times every day. Now I just need to find some time to figure out how to make some time so I can spend some time putting toys on the MM. But with moving to a new house this weekend, work, 4 and 7 year old kids, T-day, and winter bearing down... when will all these responsibilities cease!! Did I mention that I need to dig out twelve 50 year old evergreen bushes over T-day weekend?:bigcry: Oh well, at least it's exercise...

Lars, start out with the SS Inserts. Not too expensive, easy to install, and they look great !!! Adds 5 RWHP minimum. :D

All I can do is try to learn about these "Modern" cars! Bought mine in June '04 (DTR) and know of only 1 more in the area. The "metro" area around here has about 70,000--85,000 total population. The city even voted against buying Fords for the police department because of a local "brand X" plant. But, as I learn more, I will post more.

Disfunctional? My MM functions quite well, thank you! Oh, you meant us, not our cars. Never mind. :alone:

Hey Folks, I'm still here, much like some of the others learning and pondering what, if anything, to do with my MM. I really like the idea of the chip and 4.10s, but with the amount of highway driving I do with mine those 4.10s probably wouldn't be the smartest mod. Maybe I'll go with the chip for now, but then there's the FHP tying up DR for a while. Oh well, I'm in no hurry anyway. Every day is a pleasure cruise in the MM even though it's stock. Another in my fleet that can be driven several thousand miles and never meet another like it. In fact, since I got my MM in September I have put almost 5000 miles on it and have only seen one other MM during that time. It's just an awesome machine for that and many other reasons.
Well, I obviously missed the Fender Badge run but sure would like to have a set. Anybody want to join in and see if we can get another 100 MM owners in on another run?
