Last Friday, my wife had the night off from work and scheduled a night out with her sister that came into town. Yours truly was elected to babysit our 5 year old daughter while the girls went out to have fun.
The first bar they went to was dead, and wound up at a little dive a few miles further down the road. After a while, my wife noticed a gentleman that looked familiar from her work. She approached the guy asking him if he worked at Ford as she had seen him around.
He replied yes. After several minutes of small talk my wife asked Mongoose what he drove. He said something to the effect of "You probably never heard of what I drive". Her reply was somewhat sarcastic as she said "Yeah, what? Mongoose said: "I drive a Mercury Marauder!
"What do you mean I never heard of it, I have one in my driveway!" Sandy replied. Mongoose was insistant on taking her for a ride in his MM and must say she was impressed with the burnout and getting rubber in second gear.
Mongoose wrote down the website, and after hearing this story Saturday morning at 4:00am, . . been here every day!!
Thank you Mongoose! ! ! ! ! When you have time ->
I'm buying.

if he had a free Craftypoke MM Calling card he could have saved all the energy it took to write it down and simply handed over the card and said, "here is the place with all the knowledge you'll ever need"

Craftypoke Industries
conceived in my head; purveyer of Marauder Stuff.

I hear ya'! The notepad he had was from Marauderville II. Pretty convenient if I say so myself.

It's sounds like it is a good thing that he drove a MM, or she might have actually picked him up.

Not quite.
We worked together in the same part of the KTP body shop for several years (she in production and me in maintenance).
Talked to MM2004 for about a half an hour on the phone tonite. We're going to get together next week for a couple of beers (he said he'll buy  )
Now MM2004 will have the opportunity to see a modded MM in person, not just on the website. ;)
