Come One, Come All!!

Haggis and Ladyhawke will be traveling thru Massachusetts on Sunday so we're going to get a group together. Here are the details.

Location: Piccadilly Pub, Rte 12, Auburn, MA http://www.picpub.com/index2.htm
Directions: http://www.picpub.com/locations/tops/auburn.htm
Date/Time: Sunday, Nov. 21, 2pm

It's a two hour ride for RF and myself. Please post here if you can join us. I'll confirm with the restaurant tomorrow about accommodating the crew. Other than the dyno day with Jerry W. we did in May '03, we haven't had a "Meet" up this way, so let this be the first of many!!

Gordon and I have arrived safely in Keene NH. Many thanks to Mary for organizing a meet for Sunday. We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces and hoping to meet some new members from the area.

Mike, we are planning to take Rt 12 South to Fitchburg, then Rt 2 to I-190 South to Worcester and would love to meet up with you and Diana. Give us a call on our cell # or send a PM.

Unfortunately, we have not seen any Marauders on our trip yet.

WE"LL BE THERE!

Glad to hear you all are coming to meet us. Chris and I are lookig foward to meeting more of our Marauder family. Unfortunately we did not bring the Black Bomber, not knowing how the weather was going to be. It is not set up for the snow and the tread on the rear tires is kinda low. See you all on Sunday.

P.S.

Chris brought the Eastern Regional shirts for those that ordered them. An extra incentive for you to come on Sunday. :D

I'd love to be there but I'll be in Oregon visiting family on Sunday.
I'm bummed :bigcry: because I've been looking forward to a big get-together for quite a while.
Make sure someone has one or two for me!

I'm glad the location worked out for you MM03MOK.

As a side note; Did anyone who has already changed over to there winter wheels encounter "issues" with the removal of there rims? I did mine Monday night and had to pound them with a 10# sledge to get them off! In the spring I will be painting the hubs and calipers so next winter it may not be an issue. The funny part was that I was showing my son the proper way to change a tire.

"See" you all in a week. :D

I think you missed my reply form yesterday, my wife and I will be there also.
By the way we were discussing this last night, this place can be crowded on Sundays and it may be tough to even find a parking space let alone a table. We live 5 minutes away so if you all would like ,we can meet at the Pick or the Ramarda next door then shoot over to our house for pizza, grinders, drinks whatever. We would love to have you all.
Give us your thoughts.

Give us your thoughts.I just gave them a call. No reservations on weekends. I asked about a group of 15. They said they could try to put enough table together. We'd have a better chance of getting seats if we broke the group in half. They said they could keep the two tables close by. Thank you, Larry, for your offer! I guess the best thing to do is wait and see. Doesn't matter to me either way!!

We had a nice afternoon! It was great catching up with Chris, Gordon, Mike, Diana and Paul. A pleasure meeting Georgann, John Russo, and new member Larry Durham and his wife Sharon. For a change, we spent more time eating than standing in front of our cars! But, we did plenty of car talk!!

Chris and Gordon's visit to NH prompted the gathering. We need to plan the next one.....a little more advanced notice this time. Let's plan on something in January, after the holidays. I'll start a new thread in Dec. Maybe Sunday, either the 9th or 23rd?

Chris and Gordon should be somewhere in PA now. Please check in when you get safely home!!

We arrived safetly home about 11:45pm. That was a long drive I took over the driving at about 7pm and am still wired, but it is starting to catch up with me. Chris went to sleep right after we got home and got the truck unpacked.

I would like to thank everyone who showed up at Piccadilly's and showed us some true New England hospitality. It was go to see Mary and Bob, Paul and Georgann and Mike and Dianna again. It was also great to meet John Russo and Larry and his wife Sharon. We had a great time talking with you all for the short time we had, but it was well worth it.

Maybe Mary could organize something in the Summer or early fall next year. I always wanted to go out in a boat and watch the whales in the ocean swim by. We could call it: Marauders at Cape Cod; Whale Tour '05 or something similar.

What do you expect from an English named pub "Picidilly's".

Larry Durham

It was a pleasure meeting the "gang" Sunday at the "Pic" as it is called locally. Nice group of people; great to put the face to the name. Beautiful cars, crazy Marauder fans---what more could we ask for!

We look forward to getting together with more and more people to make New England the envy of the country for great get-togethers!

Mary-great plan for next summer, the Cape is a beautiful place to go in spring or fall--look forward to firming that up.

Paul, got your pm, crazy getting every thing done for tomorrow-thanks for the pictures---get us smiling sometime, we look like we are at a funeral! My wife almost committed hari-kari when she saw pictures--we were listening intently but look so morose!

Haggus-what do you order at an English pub-FISH AND CHIPS!!!

Haggis-what do you order at an English

I can't believe that Bob's big head completely blocked me out of that picture! :(

If you look carefully at that picture, Paul, Bob (RF Overlord) blocked out both me and you simultaneously. That's quite a feat!

I didn't realize that all of the people would be coming with their wives. I couldn't tell from their web names. I have a wife too. She'll come the next time.

I enjoyed the entire event even though it was only my first time.

It was great to meet both "halves" of each one there.

I thank both Gordon (Haggis) and Paul for their very nice photos.

I haven't been on line for four days until today.
