Well someone has a turbo kit. I found this in the december issue of 5.0 Mustang.

After reading the 'Boost Bash' S/C comparison article in MM&FF magazine I REALLY like the idea of a turbo....Only one problem...On a MM the turbo mounts in front of the engine. That means lots of exhaust piping and lots of underhood heat.
Also the farther the turbo is mounted from the exhaust ports the greater the loss of heat (HP) BEFORE it gets to the turbo and the greater the turbo 'lag'.
Another potential problem is: Where do they route the 3" downpipe off the turbo????

Well, there it is folks, 471 foot pounds of torque, for 4700 bucks. Get'em whille they are hot.
What about the Turbonique?

Dyno Tested at 371 Horse Power and 471 Rear Wheel Torque @ $4,700.00.sounds great..

I also know who makes it,Pro Turbo right here in San Antonio.
You guys beat on them about the split 2 1/4" down pipes under the cross member,remember?

I want a turbo. I will only go with a design that wastepipes above the K-member. What does this mean? It means getting a tubular K-member designed. I will not have pipes running under my suspension. Pro-Turbo's kit is interesting, but leaves a lot to be desired. I'll wait.
