Had a good time. Ran 15.27 @ 91.59 stock, with the wife's purse in the trunk. Wonder what it would've been without that.....:P

Wow....what a blast. Great turn out, some very fast times and the Timeslip page is going to have some solid representation from Florida....let's just say that the 13 second entries are going to grow.

On a more personal note; There is nothing better than spending a day with our club members, my wife and I had a wonderful time (except for the sunburn). My lovely wife raced today for the first time in her life and she had a R/T of .007, won 2 of 4 races....and posted the fastest time our car ran today !!!!:D

Y'all need two Marauders now! Congrats on the times... I'll be lookin' at the timeslips.Brian, thanks. After rereading my post I realized that I am suggesting that I ran in the 13's...I did not. Other members did run 13's...3 of them in fact and I want to allow the individuals to post their experiences today. Also a Rienhart equipped Marauder was solid in the 11's.

My wife did make the fastest run: 14.5 @ 97 mph, it was warm today (85*) and my car improved all the short times but no personal best....maybe when it cools off.:D

PS: Remember at Indy I was mostly running 14.9-15.1

Just got back to the east coast about a hour ago, what a long day , but it was worth it. Had a great time. Around 18 to 20 Marauders showed up. The weather was nice ,a little warm and the wind blew against the cars going down the track. We met a few new people and some old friends. I'm sure some of the members will be posting some pictures.

I want to thank all the members for inviting me to Bradenton, we have been at for 45 days straight in a row getting moved and it does get very tiring working seven days a week 10/11 hours a day, so I rally needed this, to relax and it gave me a chance to meet members I have not had the chance to.
I am not sure of the exact finale number but I think it was 20 Marauders,

I delivered the Monster Marauder to its owner, I have not had this car to the track, but twice so I wanted to adjust the shift points on this car, it was 85 degrees there, so the first pass it ran 12.1 but the 1/2 and the 2/3 was short so I moved the shift points up in 2 MPH increments, by the third pass the car ran a 11.8 at 115 MPH. Now this car would run a very low 11 if I would have had more time.

But then I got politely was asked to get off the track till I installed a roll cage and fire suit and six point but this was wrong because the NHRA has changed the time to 11.49 vice 11.99, but I was happy so I said OK. So then I got my Mark 8 out.

This car should run a high tens, I have been trying to adjust its shift points unlike the Maruader who's shift points were low mine are high so the car was hiting the revlimit, so I was playing with them my best time here was 11.7 at 118 MPH by now it was 3PM so we were done I really had a nice day I want to thank all of you for inviting me and I hope that we can have a good turn out on December the fourth for the open house.
