No it is not.
The symbol only means that the glass is heated.
They are powered once you turn on your rear defroster.

Here in the GWN (Edmonton, most northerly major metropolis in NA), a hands-down foolproof technique to verify that the mirror heat is working is to press your palm on it approximately 60 seconds after turning on the rear window defroster. No it is not.
The symbol only means that the glass is heated.
They are powered once you turn on your rear defroster.Just another post to "confirm" that the symbol does not light up, it would be neat, but "distracting at the same time IMO :)

Mercury could have put one on the dash or hooked one up with the defroster switch?

But that would be nit-picking a reat job by Mercury otherwise:):):)
