These are my winters, from the Part numbers section I ordered the police wheels and center caps. Tires are Michelin X Ice, 225/60/16, 26.6 inches tall. They weigh 56.6 pounds per corner, about 4 pounds heavier than the stock rears. The computer thinks the back tires are spinning at highway speeds so I have to turn off the traction control. The car sits pretty low with them on.
Surprise! I can spin them like I'm in the bleach box. It gets 2nd gear rubber at half throttle with the SCT Tuner shift program.

I was able to bend the tabs on the center caps so they are fairly tight. They just grasp onto the stock lug nuts, there is no bolt holding them down.

Time to really start bullying other motorists.

Nice skins! What was the total cost? I love the Blue/Black combo, mine is also Blue.

Total cost for me was around $1500 CDN, I made a deal with the dealer to sell me snows & wheels at their cost when I bought the car.
I just drove it, it was barking the tires hard in second gear. 3rd gear acceleration is really strong with the shorter tires. But that sickening vibration from the driveshaft starts sooner.

Also a report on the handling, it sucks now. On ramps are no longer fun, they are more like "what's it going to do next? Understeer or oversteer?"

Hey do you find that people get the heck out from in front of you alot? I think it's the color, they think I'm an unmarked. Even when people come flying up from behind in another lane, they jam on the brakes, I see their front ends dive down and then they creeeeeep up to see if I'm a cruiser. I love the black paint but I'm glad I went with blue, the color is just an added bonus.

That is funny, its basically the whole reason I bought the car! I was looking at Lightnings because they are fast & V8 rear drive, but I picked the Marauder to help part the seas. Toronto has disgusting amounts of traffic. And for the most part they do get out of the way. I would say about 80% of the time. Unless you are in Wisconsin, and then they will never get out of your way!
Also a good rule of thumb is if you can't see the driver's head from behind the car, they aren't moving over, period. Also a lot of immigrants new to the country don't really know the customs, so they don't know to move out of the hammer lane either. I can't really blame them for that.
And then there are the completely oblivious, who go barreling by me and don't even lift. What are they thinking? I guess that's how so many ticket stories start with "From out of nowhere..."

Hey!

No picking on Wisconsinites. All the bad drivers you encounter here in WI are probably FIBS :D

Just kidding WCM - Of course none of you are FIBS.

Sorry, gonna have to disagree with you, there... Stay to the right except to pass. If you don't understand this simple rule, you should not be given a licence. I get on the DVP at 7:00am, and there's always some putz, hanging out in the fast lane, crawling along at 80km... I have nothing but venom for these people!:mad2:

As a note, I think the black with dark tints gets mistaken for an airport taxi during the day. At night, I'm sure many think I'm police. Most people move over, and more than a few have been flying, only to do the hard slow down when approaching, and look very closely, to try and figure out what I am...
