A couple of questions; what is involved in changing these out? Looks like just a couple of bolts, is there a gasket/oil dripping down onto exhaust manifold/ect or anything else I need to know? My next question is are there coils mounted under there? Doesnt make too much sense to me. Thanks in advance

yup,..just a couple of bolts hold it on. yes,.. there is a rubber gasket under the cover, and the spark plugs are deep inside. the MM uses the Coil-On-Plug system. Don't ask me to explain that. :P 'cause it doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense to me either.

So, these "Powered By Ford" covers fit exactly on the MM valve covers? No muss, no fuss? Looks easy. No tricks, right?

I found a supplier who lives less than a mile from me! I think I'll call him. I really like the look.

They are not chrome plated. They are polished aluminum and they will scratch. Nothing serious, but they need to be maintained with jeweler's polish to stay in A-1 condition. I may want a spare set, what are you looking for?

BTW, you never stated a prices for the Vortech S2-T Trim, were you serious in your offer?

I initially was kidding about the coil covers, but you are correct they are polished and not chrome. They are now for sale though. I just need to look at what I have into the coil covers and I will let you know. I have so many receipts from the build up of my car that it could take me a month. J/K, I will get a price posted up on them as soon as possible.

The blower is a polished JT Trim, not an S Trim. Sorry for not getting back to you on that, but I saw you had your motor buttoned up already and I thought you would no longer be interested. This blower would be a nice step with your "decompressed" motor. In any event, the blower is $2,500.00 with brackets.

Here are some pictures of the blower that is for sale and also of the coil covers on another member's car):

I just put them on today. Very easy - perfect fit and they do look great! After taking off the plain jane stock covers I noticed they were a very poor casting that seemed lightweight and brittle. These new ones are heavier and feel much more substantial.

The RH one went right on but had to take off the air intake from the TB to get the LH on. Still easy.

I like 'em!!
