I have a 2004 DTR and want to make it handle. What are the mods I should look for first adn then after that. Money is an issue. I already purchased a Dead Pedal and ended up putting it on my 200 CVPI.
thanks

I would say for a Marauder, thicker swaybars and QA1 shocks. If you can't shell out for the front coil overs, I'd check to see if Naake just has shocks like they have for my Grand Marquis. The Stocker Star shocks are only $140 each. Better than Bilsteins in my opinion. The Metco control arms and Watts link later if you wanted the full package.

There's some good suspension upgrade parts out there, swaybars, brakes, coilovers, and the like. It is a pretty good package to start with, but the basic "stage 1" mods do help handling but promoting more expected shifts, and a few more horses (helps the rear end keep up). Do a search on the components you desire, should come up with lots of hits that way. I'm not too sure about any tire upgrades for handling as of yet, though they are probably out there as well.

Get the larger rear sway bar from Dennis, and see if Zack has any of his control arms left...if not, then the Metco arms would also be a good choice.
Although it might not be considered a handling option, the stainless brake lines from TCE do help the pedal feel, and allow you to modulate the brakes more precisely, giving you more control.

Do the larger rear sway bar first. Dramatic difference for the money involved. You can easily do the install yourself, as many here have. You won't go wrong purchasing it from Reinhart.
