Of all the Marauder drivers you have seen who is the most unlikely?
Here's mine:
A few weeks ago I was motoring along the freeway and barrelled up on a MM in the slow lane. Seeing another MM is a rare sight in LA. I switched lanes and pulled alongside. The driver was a 65-70 yr old woman, driving like a great grandmother = hunched over the steering wheel and way under the speed limit. I feel for that MM. :bigcry:

LOL.......I must admit that I've kinda considered Marauders to be a guy's car, and perhaps that mostly true, however there are a number of women who like them, and apparently women of all ages too. :banana2:

My vote goes to my 83 year old grandpa. Figured he would have kept his Roadmaster until he couldn't drive anymore...not so.

The most unlikely MM driver I know has to be my Mom. Yes my mother has a 04 DTR. Make a long story short when I took her out car hunting so she could replace her 94 Town Car nothing satisfied her. I made the suggestion that she look at the MM I had seen at the local dealer and the rest is history. In fact my Mom bought hers 2 months before I purchased my 03 leftover. I dont know who likes the car more me or her. In case you are wondering my Mom drives hers like I drive mine, Catch us if you can. :D

I'll never forget the good ole hotrodder in the 95 LT1 powered Caprice that tried to race me on the berlin TPK. Him and his wife looked about 80 years old. maybe I shoulda let him win, but I guess I couldn't resist, so I stomped on the go pedal to blow past him and then I backed off at about 80 MPH since I was well out ahead of him by then. He really surprised me though :banana2:

The Marauder is Mom's, the Lightning is mine (we do share).

I have only seen five other Marauders on the road in the past 14 months. Can't say any of them were unlikely ... :D

Yeah, other than the eight Marauder owners I've met from this board, I've only seen two other Marauders on the road. One was a guy who wouldn't even wave to me when he looked right at me waving to him as he was passing me in my Marauder on the highway, and another was a middle aged woman in the oncoming traffic going by. That's the only two I've ever seen since I even found out that Marauders exist (BTW, it was only one week after i found out about Marauders that I purchased mine;) ).

It was an entire year that I dreamed about the Marauder before I saved up enough to get mine.... Ever since I saw that one go by me on I-94 a year ago...... Where are you!!! Haaa Haaa! Got one now! Let's dance!
Back to reality... :) I've only seen 2 other MMs in the GR, MI area. One at a restaurant, (Brann's Steakhouse... it was very dirty... disappointed!) and another at a McDonalds drive-through.
I feel so alone on this side of the state!!! :(
I've seen 2, a Black one here in Newport News and a Red one out in Virgina Beach the very day I picked mine up. Wasn't close enough to get either of thier attention, and I'm pretty sure they didn't see me in a Blue one. Have yet to see a Silver one or another Blue one. I have a theory that if I swing by the local police stations I'll see a Marauder, from reading all these posts they seem to be popular with law enforcement folks.

Saw an elderly Oriental gentleman driving on the Belt parkway in a silver MM with a Landau top and a black grille!

Why in the world would a Navy Chaplain want to drive a S/C MM? -kjs-

From the reports coming in, I'm NOT the oldest Marauder owner--that makes me feel better :burnout:

(Rhetorical Question!) -kjs-
I actually scoped out the trip on Mapquest. Being in the military, I could plan something today, and they could unplan it for me tomorrow. And I'd pretty much have to like it.:(
