Drive safe. Drive responsibly. And, under no cir***stances, drink and drive (or operate a boat). Belive me, in a prior Chapter of my lawyering life, I have seen the results of not following these simple rules. The results re NOT pretty.

Oh my dear Lord...if those pix are real, that is the most awful thing I've ever seen...

As a recovering alcoholic, sober for almost 14 years now, all I can say is that I am on my knees crying right now, thanking God that I never hurt anyone...

Those pix should be posted in every High School, along with every bar, tavern, club, etc. in the country...

The innocent always seem to pay the biggest price for the senseless deeds of others. It was the worst part of being in the fire service for so many years. My heart goes out to all the families and victims like hers.

You all be careful with yours cars.....drinking or not. And if you do drink, have a designated non-drinking driver for the night. There is no excuse for this senseless killing and maiming going on in our cities and towns. :(

That's really horrible. Now I'm upset...... better take it easy on the road, drive defensively and stay sober.....
Price to pay for having a few drinks isn't worth it.......
I can't imagine living like that.......

It's real, some of you in the Dallas area may have seen the commercial on TV. Somebody posted this on another forum. Apparently the fireman who was on the scenes couldn't get the door of her car open and didn't think about breaking her window, he regrets not doing so.

There are some articles out there somewhere on the net...

If I find anything, I'll post.

Yes, this is true. The Austin paper ran a special (and fairly long) article last year about this, it's still online here:

The whole thing is very sad.
