What would be a reasonable price to stick on my 2003 Black MM 300-A, with 20K miles on it? It's in mint condition, has the rear badge removed, factory re-paint (looks much better than the original paint), new tires, and Magnaflow exhaust. I'd like to get $50K if possible..... :D

The cold hard truth. A dealer would offer you down near 17k if that...

I think most of us realized the resale value of the Marauder as well as the GM was not good. :( Mine is a keeper so I am not concerned about resale. :D

IMO about $28-30k, based on your mods, but you'd need to be prepared for $27k. Again, just my opinion, but I'm usually pretty accurate at this part of the game since I change cars more often than most change shorts... :)

That blows. I love the car, just not the payments. I thought I was getting a killer deal when I bought the car, but maybe I didn't. I want to sell this thing because I have another more expensive hobby that I would just love to throw the MM car pyms at, instead of the MM that is depreciating faster than I can pay for it!!! Truly sucks. Oh well, I'll figure something out.

wonders what your more expensive hobby is? :)

Hmmm, how do I 'splain this one?
I am an avid auto enthusiast of many different aspects, but mainly off-road. I enjoy simple backwood exploring, rock-crawling, extreme trail 'wheeling, mud-bogging, drag-racing, road-racing and more! Believe it or not, it is very possible to build a single multi-use vehicle, that can accel in every area I just mentioned above.....except road-racing. (But that's what the wife's car is for!) Such a vehicle is not cheap, and takes much planning to build.....especially since it would have to be very reliable and comfortable enough for road trips as well! Most people build a seperate "trailer-queen" type vehicle for each category I mentioned above, but I am not most people! That would also be extremely expensive. So, my plans are to build an existing platform I already have, into the multi-use vehicle of my dreams! It's not gonna be done tomorrow, but with the MM sold, it could be done much, much sooner. Besides the wifee says the MM pymt must go, before the build-up begins!!!

That's the more expensive hobby.......

About a month ago, Carmax offered me $18.4k on my non-supercharged MM with 29,000 on it. It was at the Irving store across from Cowboy Stadium. They will tell you the quote is the wholesale price.

Yep, that'd be about right. Carmax pays a bit more than a dealer will, not much, but a bit.

When I purchased mine last month from a dealer in Tulsa, Ok. I paid 23k with 13K miles on it. I suspect they would probably only give me about 18-19K on a trade-in.

So, it sounds like ya'll are quoting trade-in prices. I have no plans to trade the MM in. My plan is to sell it outright. I would think that it would bring more than trade in value!

Go back and look. I wasn't speaking trade-in prices on my original response. 19.5-20.5k for private party is about all you can expect, if you actually want to sell it. If you ask $23k for it, it'll be sitting there with the for sale sign for a loooooooooong time.
