I hit the track last week for the first time since my dynotune from LaRocca's Performance. I was VERY happy.
After I had the trans built and the PI 3000 installed, I drove the car back from DR's shop and it felt great. Then I hit the track and started turning times like 14.3's. I couldn't break 14.20's in a car that was going 13.70's with only headers and 4.10's!!!
I took the car to Jimmy and Tommy LaRoccas shop and they fixed me up good. It was all in the tune, baby!! I hit the track last Weds and was running consistent 13.70's again.
Now you may say, "He was running 13.70's before! Why'd he spend all that money for the trans and TC?!" Because now I'm doing 13.70's while baking the tires all the way through 1st gear!! Under full throttle, there is NO traction to be had with this thing. It's wild at WOT in the first two gears. I imagine that if I could get my hands on somebody's drag radials or slicks, this car would be turning 13.30's. I LOVE IT.
