FLORIDA climate people with window tint would probably be MOST helpful here.
I only had my MM for @ week - 2 weeks TOPS before I did the 36% FormulaOne tint(bought back in mid Oct).
I generally find a tempertature in the range of 70-75 degress to be most comfortable in my home or car(assuming temp has been maintained/stablized for some time).
When I'm in the MM, I'm finding that once temps are stabilized(ex NOT 5 a min drive after being sealed up in the hot sun) ... I need to set the climate control on at least 78 degrees or I am a bit cold. I'm aware of how things work with automatic climate control vehicles - any given temperature setting output, will always differ based upon "in" cabin temps. Ex - if you get in your car after it's been locked up on a hot summers day - get in & set the ETC on automatic & 90 degrees ... you should NOT expect hot air to come out, as your in cabin temps should far EXCEED that at that point. In therory the unit should/would still be puting out cooler air - until the interior stabilizes @ 90 degrees(gasp !).
Anywho ...
I prefer having more CONTROL over the HVAC temp output - so most times I use the manual settings. Therefore, I find it rather odd that I do not feel noticeably warmer air output till I've clicked up @ the 78 degree mark(typical 80 degree day lately). Again, I have found myself feeling COLD at anything less, if I've been in the car for more than a 1/2 hour(stabilized temp).
The car will & does seemingly put out the NORMAL hot air in the maximum manual HEAT setting(90 degrees) ... so I don't believe there could be any issues with the thermostat(stock). There may not be any issue at ALL here ... maybe my born & raised in NJ blood is just thining - out to more Floridian "specs" ;).
Had the TC windows tinted the same after the MM - maybe I need to spends some more time back in it during the day(wife drives it now) ... & see how that feels.
What interior temp settings are other people down here in FL most comfortable cruising around with ?.
Is the HVAC just operating that much more efficiently after the tint ?.
Is something abnormal in having to hit at least 78 degrees in manual mode to feel some warmth in the air output ?.
Am I just abnormal ?.
None of the above ?.
All the above ?.
Will I win the supercharger raffle ?.
If I do - will I take the warranty plunge & actually keep - install it ?.
Do I have any children I don't know about ?.
If something is neither here - nor there - where the h*** is it then !?!?!?.
:P
