Changing out a torque converter does not require any modification to the EEC, which is to say that "no program interruption" is necessary. Drive on my friend, and with a smile plastered across your face too, if you're installing a Stallion over the OEM TC. You may want to reflash the EEC memory data, but that's your choice once you get all four on the ground again.

If you're asking about labor rates for this TC change out, it requires a tranny pull, and driveshaft removal, ATF top off, maybe more if you have a driveshaft loop in place, and a few other miscellaneous adjustments too.

250 to 300 bucks feels about right in my neighborhood.

550 to 600 bucks? Go fish...

I charge 300 Labor to pull the trans and 300 to install a built kit so if they are saying 600 to just pull it there scamming you

I think I paid $450 which included the bench work for j-mod, all shop supplies and lube, tax, etc.

Your'e not alone in paying out the nose. I probably sbould have drove up to Lidio's place, but I didn't check his price.

I think Dennis just spoils Marauder members.:P
