I just ordered a JLT air intake and was wondering if the battery needs to be disconnected to let the computer relearn the new airflow. What did the majority of the people that added this intake do? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I didn't disconnect the battery on my MM. I installed a K&N filter charger kit on my mustang a few months ago (similar in concept the JLT) and the instructions called for disconnecting the battery and then driving it continously for 30+ minutes. So I did.
The JLT instructions don't mention that, so I didn't. I THINK it only speeds up the learning process of the computer anyway. Besides, I didn't want to re-porgram all my radio stations.;)
