Finally had to leave my "baby" at the Dealer to address the following items:

1.) Cold Rough Idle, Performance Lacking in Rainy Weather.
2.) Condensation - Oil Pressure Gage
3.) Rear Speaker Rattle - Foam Removed.
4.) Thump - Right Front Wheel Over Speedbumps, 2 - 5 mph.
5.) Film on Windshield - Top Right, Left and Above Drivers Wiper
- Oil Change - 2000 Miles.
Won't have it back until Monday/Tuesday, . . :bigcry:
Loaner '04 GM.

Three of the service tech's assured me the car was goiing to be kept inside during the nightime hours.

Called yesterday for a progress report and was told by Jim they were close to being finished, and the car was in fact kept in the service area overnight and will be over the weekend.

Time to inquire if they are mod friendly as they really take care of me when I go in there and have purchased three new vehicles from them in the past three years.

MM2004: I can sympathize with you...I have to call the dealer sometime in the next 4,000 miles to have the rear axle TSB taken care of, along with a piece of leather from the steering wheel that needs re-attaching, and I'm dreading it... :bigcry: :help: :depress:

Hi Mike
Sorry I didn't call Friday.
I'll try again this week.
There is a TSB out on the rough idle.
It requires a reflash of the PCM.

Charlie,
That's quite alright. I am still sitting on 4 days vacation I need to use this month or I lose 'em. Believe me, that won't happen. Maybe I can use one of these days, and we can hook up. Did you get your chance in for the S/C?

Dec. 19? Wanna' go to Texas? I have never been there.

CBT,
Do you get condensation in your front parking lights as I do when hosing her down during bath time?

Mike.

Nope, just around evening time they cloud over (passenger more so than driver side) and when it warms up during the day it turns to water and runs down inside the light. :(

Definately sounds like the seal has been compromised on your headlamp.

Good luck!
BTW, I cannot stand having my car not with me to drive. Hoping to get it back tomorrow or Tuesday.

Time to inquire if they are mod friendly...

I was talking to my Service Manager last week and told him about the S/C Raffle we had.
He told me that if I got lucky, he had the perfect guy to do that type of work right in the shop !! :bows:  :burnout: :burn:
