Motor City Marauder spotted!

I was in the Motor City yesterday dropping off my MM to Lidio at Alternative Auto Performance. I got lots of "thumbs-ups" from other drivers, and there was some pointing and waving as well. How fun! :)

On the way back west on I-696 in my friend's dark blue 2001 Ford Taurus, (who was gratious enough to give me a lift in exchange for many beers) we spotted a black MM cruising at a high rate of speed in the far left-hand lane. I convinced my friend to catch-up with the MM, (since I had something I wanted to show the driver that could identify me here on this forum later) and we were hard pressed to do so... After several miles, (the poor Taurus was about to blow-up) we came up next to the MM which was still in the far left lane. I held up my new "Alternative Auto Performance" window decals and the lady in the passenger seat of the mystery MM started laughing. I don't know if she could read the decal, but I kept pointing and waving and giving a thumbs-up. I don't know that the driver, (a man) ever saw what I was doing as he was watching traffic.
Ok, this is turning into a book, but being new to the Motor City Marauder Club, (and not having met anyone in person yet) I was wondering who this driver was and if he was a member as well.
So here it is: Motor City Marauders pay attention... Was it you on I-696 at around 4:30pm yesterday? Are you here with liscence plate # SXP***??

Hay ,What time are you picking up your car?Let us know and maybe a few of us will show up over at Lidios and say Hi or if ya want Capers is nearby if you want good steak buy the OZ.Ask any of the guys from out of town about Capers Its something you should do plus the Motor City Crew is always looking for an excuse to go.

What are you having done?
Getting Trilogy kit #58 installed along with the smaller pulley. In addition, (possibly, if he gets them in time) the new K&N air system. He said it's new, and recommended it. Good enough for me! :) I haven't been able to find anything here about it yet though. Anyone know about this?

Hey Hack! I wanted to contact you guys when dropping off, but I was under time constraints on Saturday... (chasing a MM helped that a little though)! LOL.

I plan on picking up at 3pm on Saturday, Dec. 11th. I'll plan on having extra time to spend this time because I'd love to meet some of you! Capers sounds great, (and I HAVE heard good things about it). I can eat a good steak for every meal! Love it! :)
I'll post a similar thread on the possible Capers "chow-down" next Saturday for any Motor City guys who would like to come, (although it may be redundant since you all will see this one anyway). This could be fun! First rounds on me! :beer:

Let me look at a couple things real quick and I'll let you know for sure. How long does an events planning party last? It starts at 1pm right? Even though I begged my boss I can't be there before 3pm. If you guys are still going, I'll pick up my car at 3 and head right over to Trilogy. What do you think? (I'll have my membership app and dues ready for Dave as well)....

I have a better idea. The 3pm arrival includes driving time from Grand Rapids. I need to stop being so darn tight and jump on a plane already. I may be able to make the events planning party on time. I'll know tomorrow for sure when I talk to my boss.

Great news guys! I'll be on a plane Sat. morning, (got someone to cover for me at work) and I'll be at Trilogy on time for the events party! Wooo Hoooo! I'm excited. I'll see you guys there!
