What else whould I have done. Yes, I have read the plethora of threads reguarding spiralock C-clips and clutch packs, J-mods and a whole bunch of stuff I dont know jack about. But i figured if im going to have the trans out for the TC to be put in I might as well fix anything/ beef up the internals. SOOOOO if anyone can tell me what else i should have done/ install on my trans please let me know. TIA. -Dave

Head cooling mod.
LV! Good to hear from you!
Like JD said, the head cooling mod. It's best done when you have the tranny out.

Head cooling mod.Absolutely, call Dennis on this one.
And by all means do the J-MOD on the plates.
DO THIS....DO IT DO IT DO IT.
PM me and I will send the full pic instructional via email so that your tranny tech can get this done. Really easy bench work, and a ust do as long as the tranny is out. Shouldn't run you more than $45-$50 in extra labor.

What cruztaker said. Cooling mod by all means due to the climate where you live. When I had my tranny out for the t/c install I also had the level 2 trans package put in from Reinhart. It includes the J mod. I cannot emphasize enough what a difference it makes. It is literally a head-snapping change. It makes it a different car with the advantage of also being quite a bit less likely to fail than the OEM trans.

And I can tell you from experiance, the level 2 trans upgrade has a noticeable seat of the pants performance feel over the torque converter by it's self. I've driven Valleyman and hwycruzer's cars. They are both running 4.10's and the stallion TC. I noticed the difference right off in Valleyman's car. :)
