Well, I wanted to let you all know about the about the FHP academy, I am down here now today, my open house was a big success I quit at 9:30 PM and drove from Jacksonville Florida to Tallahassee last night I have been on the run for almost 50 straight days, but this event to day was really worth it.

Today was classroom day. All the troupers that are assigned the Marauders were on a training course all day yesterday and these guys love this car as we all do, they were totaly satisfied with the modification we installed on these cars which included KVR front and rear brake pads, Dynotech MMDS ADDCO rear sway bars and Auto meter Oil pressure gauges and our SCT tuning, Steve Babcock could not come but he sent a great Man Brian who was very very knowledgeable of this car as well as the CV PI.

I was asked to speak as well as Brian and the company that made the Mini cams that are installed in all the Marauders, tomorrow there will be a State wide press release and the kick off of Florida's Aggressive driving program. FYI more people are killed by agresive drivers than DUI, Florida is going to be the starting point of this new agresive program and I am sure all the States will follow Suite, this a is a great gfroup of profesionals, they all are hand picked to drive thses cars.

So again I will post more pictures later on after tomorrow thanks every one for there support and turn out yesterday, I will post those pics on a seperate post, I hope every one hand a great weekend.

Dennis, you have done all of us a great favor---maybe now FLM will have to keep parts in inventory for a little while longer---or even make special edition Marauders to keep the line going ???? Now that the CVPI has been cleared by every agency responsible for public safety, Maybe they will reconsider. Anyway, way to go , Now, take 2 hours for a sleep break ;) Maury

Reminds me of back in the day when Michigan State Police had the 1990's era Mustang LX 5.0 interceptors and the Chevy Camaro Z-28 chase cars, the Troopers were fighting over taking those hot pursuit cruisers out.

An added bonus for the FHP guys who take them home.....no markings.....so they can cruise around "Pimpin the ride, Proper-Like" :coolman:

So Dennis, Did you mention that there is a Mercury Marauder club online to the FHP finest? It would be fun to here some of their (no doubt) upcoming stories about stopping "rice burners" with their MMs. J

Yeah, they'll probably have a couple of stories about stopping civilian Marauders, too.

In the FHP there is no argument about taking the car home.
Each trooper is assigned a vehicle of his own and it's his until it's
time to trade it, or he "breaks" it. :)
The trooper in our district gave up his Z-28 Camaro to get his
new Marauder.
