It was my first, other than our guys, of course. We were going into the parking lot at Boyd's Bears, Gettysburg, and Barb started yelling, THERE"SAMARAUDER THERE"SAMARAUDER! Sure enough, a Silver Birch, with sunroof and rear spoiler, along with a very cool GT 350 style stripe on the rockers. I put my card along with the web URL under his wiper blade and we started for the barn. Well, there was a couple walking toward us, with a little girl in tow, and he was wearing what looked like a Marauder jacket. When we got close I said "I see you're wearing your Marauder jacket. No, he said, this is a look alike, the real one's at home. We had a nice chat about the cars, and his plans for mods. I encouraged him to check out our group and told him about CAM activities and the BigBat's doo, this past Saturday. I'm guessing from his license plate he's an LEO and hopefully we'll have a new member joining us. His wife said he drives too fast ......our kind of guy!;)

Good going Mike, that is the way to drive up the membership. At least you didn't follow him 5 miles to his driveway, right James.

I think that Barb should get credit for this one. :D She thought it was Sam Marauder. Mike was probably looking for the SS Inserts and wondering who broke into his garage and made off with his Silver Baby.

Oh geez Charlie, I haven't seen the girl since I parked her up at our place at Snow Shoe over a month ago. I hope she's OK. I filled the tank and added the proper number of capfuls of the fuel stabilizer stuff. (first, of course) Then gave her a good wax job & covered her up. We'll be going up over the post Christmas week and I'll get re-acquainted, and if the weather's fit, may go out on I-80 for a "tune up" run. ;) Who knows, maybe we'll run across another Marauder, they show up at the darnedest places.
